What Makes Our Grants So Valuable?
In addition to $2,000 in funding, we provide intensive training valued at $6,000 so communities learn to implement and sustain their projects over the long-term. With this investment, they take true ownership of their work.

Since 2009 more than 1,400 women, men and children have directly benefited from reforestation, ecological water and sanitation systems, and organic agriculture—all projects that communities learned to execute themselves through our training workshops. Thanks to the support of generous donors like you, we’ve reached more than 12,000 people with special events and education about climate change and environmental rights.

Help us do more today. Every dollar goes a long way in Ecuador. For example:

$120 covers materials for a complete rain water catchment system for one family

$180 covers materials for an ecological toilet

$220 covers the cost of 60 native tree seedlings to reforest a small community

$600 pays for a training workshop on traditional handicrafts

$2,000 covers the cost of a grant for an entire community of 15-30 families
